Oil on canvas. Signed at the backsite Bagdad Cafe 2024 by the artist Bagdad Cafe was immortalized in connection with the film of the same name from 1987. Steen Larsen has long been fascinated by the southern states of the USA and especially the areas between San Francisco and Paris in Texas. This painting is therefore a clear extension of his fascination with the environment, landscapes and cities around Route 66. |
